STUDENT COOKING

Georgie Soskin mixing sourdough in her kitchen

Is your child interested in cooking and wanting to learn more than just white pasta and nutrient lacking fast food? The future of cooking is up to us to pass on - this is something I am passionate about.

There is so much wisdom in food and so many wonderful and easy ways to feed ourselves in a fast and inexpensive manor with out having to reach for nutrient lacking ingredients.

This course is focused on a more wholeistic way of being in the kitchen, showing them how to become comfortable and more intuitive in the kitchen. Providing the fundamentals for being a confident cook. Focusing on things like knife skills, how to cook with grains and pulses, make boosted breakfasts and most importantly have delicious food that will support them.

This course is set in a calm and creative environment with a group size of just 6.

The day starts at 10:30 and finishes as 2:30 with time for a lunch made together.

Some of the areas we will be covering -

Knife skills

Delicious breakfasts (that aren’t overwhelming but can support them until lunch)

How to cook with grains

How to cook with pulses

Making food go further

Plus general kitchen hygiene etiquette

I always ensure I use the best possible produce and products, most things are organic (as this is the way I like to cook) and if not organic as good as I can find.

My address details will be sent to you. We are 7 minutes from Andover/ 15 from Newbury in Hampshire

Cost - £95

If you have any dietary requirements please do let me know as drinks and refreshments will be offered through out the morning.
