savoury GUT SPRINKLE

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ sheet nori seaweed

  • 50 grams toasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped

  • 3 tsp mixed seeds (sesame, pumpkin etc)

  • 1 tsp coriander seeds

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp fennel seeds

  • ½ chilli flakes

  • 2-3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes

  • 1-2 tsp black sesame seeds

The only gut health supplement you actually need - dont be fooled by all the noise out there - you can find so much in the kitchen, you dont always need to be spending money and sourcing your energy to other people.

Make a jar, keep it on the counter, sprinkle it on everything - like your eggs, avocado on toast, savoury yoghurt etc

STEPS

1Toast the spices: place them into a dry frying pan and toast for a few minutes until just smoking and you can smell their aroma.

2Combine everything: lightly bash your hazelnuts add the blitzed up nori (i use a nutri bullet for this), taste - does it need some more salt? what is the balance like?

3 Jar it up: Tip into a clean jam jar or airtight container. Should keep for 4 weeks at room temperature. Sprinkle over eggs, avocado toast, savoury yoghurts - soo much!

NOTES

Swap anything you like. That ratio scales up as many times as you like.

Remember this is just a guide, you can get as creative as you like and change the ratios according to your taste, also feel free to add in different spices too!
